| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Product Description From the makers of the first wristwatch, the Santos Galbée is both reliable and luxurious, with stainless steel construction and an 18-karat yellow gold bezel and bracelet screws. The silvered opaline-white dial has bold Roman numeral hour markers, a date window, luminescent sword-shaped blue steel hands, and a scratch-resistant sapphire dial window. This extra large two-tone watch from Cartier features stainless steel construction, including square 32-millimeter case, bezel, bracelet, and an octagonal crown with a faceted spinel. Powered by Cartier's own mechanical movement with automatic self-winding capability, this luxurious timepiece is also water resistant to 330 feet.

| Customer Reviews: beautiful but questionable quality April 3, 2010 T. Um (DC) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
first time I own a Cartier watch, so, hard to generalize the quality of Cartier line watches as a whole.
but for a $5K watch, it should function better. very disappointed by its quality although it looks good.
it's valuable more as a jewelry, but this tiny watch on men's wrist seems a bit feminine.
rather go with other Swiss made, more reliable, practical waches.
Disappointment with Cartier Santos Galbee Automatic Watch October 3, 2008 Ravi Sinha 8 out of 13 found this review helpful
I bought this watch and have been disappointed with its performance. The first piece was defective and the dealer replaced the inside mechanism when nothing else worked. Now I find that even if I wear the watch for whole day and take it off for the night, it stops working by about 9 in morning next day.
The dealer has yet to find a solution for this. I bought the watch in India.
When I tried to get help from the Paris office of the company, I got shunted from one to another person.
