I have worn a Fossil watch for over 10 years. I rarely take it off, so it has been in showers, pools, hot-tubs and the ocean...and I never had a problem!
That being said, I purchased this watch for my husband's birthday in April, 2010. By the end of May, there was moisture underneath the crystal, and he actually takes his off at night and while bathing.
Amazon customer service was very quick to send a replacement, which came extremely fast. We have only had the replacement for 10 days now. I will come back and review it again if there is an issue.
As for the size and look of the watch? It is very nice, and a substantial piece all around. The background color is indeed WHITE (for some reason, I was thinking it looked silverish from the pictures). My husband is a large muscular man, and this looks very nice on his wrist. His actual wrist size is 8.5" around, and this watch fits comfortably without having to adjust it.
Fossil has always been a great brand in my eyes. I am hoping our issue with the original purchase is a fluke, and not an indication that the brand has become of lesser quality. If my husband's replacement continues to work well, I will be back in the fall to purchase a Fossil for my son. Amazon has great prices and great customer service! I am a hooked customer!

I received this product quickly and without flaw. The watch looked exactly as it did inthe picture.
