Amazon.com Product Description Smooth styling and sleek, dark tones define the Men's Diamond Accented Stainless Steel Dress Watch from Armitron. Encased in a black ion-plated stainless steel case, the contoured bezel frames the graded, deep blue dial. A shimmering diamond adorns 12 o'clock, and three circular, silver-tone bar indexes mark three, six, and nine o'clock. Tapered, silver-tone hands complete the streamlined design, and this classy watch is water resistant to 165 feet (50 meters). With a flexible, black ion-plated stainless steel band that wraps comfortably around the wrist and fastens with a convenient fold-over clasp, this distinguished timepiece is an ideal accompaniment to professional and dress wear.

| Customer Reviews: Amazing, minimalistic, and it wont rob you blind! March 21, 2010 Steve Burdette (VA, USA) The first thing to mention is that out of the box the dark-blue center looks almost completely black unless you shine light into it. In fact, it almost has a similar effect as pearlescent paint. I honestly liked it even better this way but it's something to mention if you're looking forward to the bright blue picture in the given image. I was going to wait a bit longer to write my review because I wanted to check the consistency of which it kept time, it's basic function, but I just couldn't wait. I promise to come back and amend my review if there is any sort of problem with the way this watch keeps time in the future.
So the first thing you have to realize when you look at this watch is what it has, and what it doesn't have. I won't rate it based on the features it lacks because it suits the purpose of being an accessory and not just a tool for telling time. The whole reason you by this watch over all the other watches is the look, not the functionality. There's no calendar, there's no date, there is no AM/PM. This is just a beautiful looking watch for those of us who go from day to day. The minimalistic design removes all of the numbers and you're left with 3 marking points and one sparkling gem for noon/midnight. Everything about the design feels solid, it's waterproof, the metal has a good weight to it, and the clasp is excellent, but the glass has no sort of scratch resistance built in so be sure to clean it with a soft cloth and not your shirt.
For those of you who have bigger wrists. Out of the box, my watch was too tight for my wrist. I measured my wrist and it's 8.3 inches around. I would say that anything above 8 inches around and you'll have to add a new link to the watch. I called Armitron and the woman I spoke with mailed me 3 new links for free. I will have to pay a watch repairman to add the link for me, which will cost from $5-10 so keep this in mind.
Update: I got the links in the mail today and I was able to easily repair it myself with a 1.4mm flathead screw driver. It's a really tiny screw driver but most tool kits come with them.
Take a look at the clasp diagram that Amazon has provided as well. The band has the best clasp I have ever used with a watch. My last watch had a clamp that came down and that got loose over time, but this one has two buttons on the side. It feels like it will last a lot longer and it's easy to take on and off. The watch overall feels sturdy, but I'm afraid that the black band with show scrapes easier than other bands of different colors.
This watch is perfect for me. If you want a minimalistic watch that will catch someone's eye, doesn't look gaudy, and it won't break the bank, then definitely consider this one.
best watch for its price February 16, 2010 E. Clarke I'm not a fan of watches but when I saw this watch I loved it bought it and never looked back
Beautiful Watch! September 12, 2009 Jeffrey M. Ingram I LOVE how this watch looks on my arm! It look WAAY more expensive than it really is. I get lots of complements on it, but I'm almost embarrassed to say that it's an Armatron though. I usually just say, "Hmm, I can't remember." and change the conversation. I like nice watches, but I'm not crazy enough to spend a ridiculous amount on $$$ on them (most because I can't afford it.)
Would I buy this watch again? YES! It's that nice!
Simple and elegant July 14, 2009 Michael J. Cresci (Petaluma, CA) I love the simplicity and durability of this watch! Looks great, comfortable and wears well.
