I have worn this watch every day since I got it, and am still surprised at how expensive this watch looks. It keeps great time for a mechanical watch, less than 1 second variance per day. I already want another Skagen, my next watch purchase will definitely be a Skagen from Amazon.

Loving the watch so far. Relatively thin, dense without being heavy, good workmanship. The face is legible enough with nice relief detail. I like that the hands glow in the dark without being cheezy fluorescent green. I'm still getting used to the radial dials for day and date. I think the one on the bottom (24 hour clock) is pretty much totally useless.
Setting it is a bit of a pain, but you only have to do it once and I'm not sure how you'd make it better. The only real knock I have against the watch is that the seconds hand doesn't QUITE align to the markings on the face. Totally an aesthetic concern, but I notice it every time I need to look at the seconds.
The band is a little stiff out of the box so I put some Brooks proofide (a tallow-based grease for maintaining leather bike saddles) and two days later it's loosening up. The parts that attach to the watch have some sort of rigid material inside extending maybe 3/4 inch into the band that are stiffer than the rest of the band, but those are beginning to mold to the shape of my wrist now. (They were very straight and made the band a bit too wide.

The order was accidently placed with the button "Order with one click". No logging on or confirmation was needed.
Furthermore the order could not be seen in Amazon.com under my account. Canceling that order was a pain, because the order officially did not exist in Amazon.com. I did however receive an e-mail with the orderconfirmation.
Via Mr. Watch I have tried to cancel the order by e-mail but also this without result. Their remark "It is already in the orderproces and cannot be stopped". The ammount of money already was withdrawn from my creditcard and still is!!!
Furthermore the package is refused in The Netherlands and send back to Mr. Watch. I am very unhappy about this procedure and I have still no refund for weeks now!
The watch is in great shape because I have the same watch bought for my father some months ago. He is very happy with it.

Great Watch, looks fantastic both on and off my wrist. Very masculine, thin and functional but classic good looks. Hard wearing and can be a worn as a casual or dress watch.
Lots of great comments (even from my wife!!) when I wear it. Only critisism the small dials bit hard to read but otherwise really happy with the purchase.

This watch is beyond nice,,, its crafted ever so elegant ... i love this watch, i am simply not a watch guy,,, but this watch changes everything...
The watch it self is very slim fits comfortably on my wrist...
color of leather was my only worry until i got it and saw that it complimented the watch and what i was wearing.
this is a good buy ,,, price is worth it ... product will stand out from the crowd, and get positively noticed
