Beautiful watch! March 4, 2010 Brooklyn This is a beautiful watch at a fantastic price. I bought it for my husband, and he LOVES it!
I really like this watch March 1, 2010 Master of None (New England) I've owned this watch for about three years and really like it. I spend my spare time on things as widely varied as electronics to automotive work, carpentry, wood carving, and the like, and this watch is on my wrist from morning to night regardless of my activities. It's thin, lightweight, and has held up pretty well. The case diameter is a bit large for my (tiny) wrist, but not so much that it looks odd. The case and mesh band are very durable and show little to know scratches or wear, but the black finish has worn almost completely off the clasp. I replaced the battery yesterday, and will be sending the watch to Skagen for replacement of the crystal which developed a crack that starts at about the 11 and runs around to about the 3 - it almost follows the inner silver ring. I don't recall specifically what caused the crack (I noticed it one morning about a year ago) but looking at my hobbies, it's entirely possible that I whacked it on something. Even with the cracked crystal it's held up pretty well, there's no moisture intrusion or anything and it keeps time extremely well. The only thing that would make me like this watch more would be either a larger number for the date or a magnifying "bubble" over the tiny number. It's eye-catching in its thinness and people tend to inquire about its manufacturer and where they can get one.
A Beautiful Watch for a Man February 10, 2010 Pam (Chicago, IL USA) I bought this for my husband's birthday and he hasn't taken it off yet. It's design is wonderful. If you've never had a Skagen watch, they sit flat on the arm and are unobtrusive. This particular titanium model is a good everyday watch and for the price, it's really beautiful. It took seconds to fit it to his arm, which was a far cry from his previous watch, which we never did get to fit right. Everyone in our household now have Skagen watches and I highly recommend them. They're flattering to the wrist, priced right, keep reliable time and there are a wide selection from which to choose from.
Simply gorgeous & great value for $$! February 5, 2010 Alvin Bailey I've owned Omega, Tissot, Titoni, Seiko, Casio watches among others, & I can't remember a single one that has given me more satisfaction when I first held it in my hand! The real thing looks better than in the pictures, & I've received plenty of compliments already. Absolutely no complaints at all, definitely well worth the price you are paying on Amazon. In fact I like it so much I'm gonna advise you NOT to buy it so there'll be fewer people wearing the same watch as me :P
Great watch, lousy clasp January 30, 2010 S. J. Brown (Bronxville, NY USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've owned three of these (exact) watches, and I love them. I've broken two crystals by my own carelessness, and it was cheaper to replace the watch than the crystal. HOWEVER, the quality of the clasps has gone downhill. On the last watch I bought, the clasp would not "click" closed. I ended up re-using the clasp from my previous model. The clasp is painted black, and the paint scratches off easily. So now I have a spanking new watch with a scratched-up half-black clasp. Surely Skagen can do better!
